Friends in Cape Cod: our documentary will air tomorrow (Sunday, March 10)  just after 7 p.m. on the community radio station WOMR 92.1 FM in Provincetown, which has a second transmitter at WFMR 91.3 FM in Orleans. Zydeco’s future

The future zydeco washboard players of Northern California perform with Andre Thierry at the Marin County Fair July 4. Thierry worked with these children under the auspices of the Performing Stars of Marin "Blues in the Schools" program. "In Marin County, the average family income is $100,000 yet there are children who live in isolated and segregated communities where poverty is concentrated and their average family income is $18,000," the organization notes. What is a Creole? A view from Louisiana

During our research for Zydeco Nation, we repeatedly ran into this question: What does it mean to be Creole?
